Clinical Application
A straight Pean hemostatic forceps in 16 cm length for reliable clamping and occlusion of medium to large bleeding vessels and soft tissue. Provides secure hemostasis during open general, abdominal and minor surgical procedures, and is useful for temporary vessel control, traction of tissue planes and preparation for ligation.
Design & Configuration
The straight shaft offers direct tip visualization and tactile control in confined operative fields. Transverse serrations along the jaw provide broad, consistent grip to resist slippage of vessels or tissue. A standard ratchet lock on the handle maintains sustained closure without continuous manual pressure, enabling hands-free hemostasis and facilitating suturing or ligation proximal to the clamp.
