Clinical Application
Designed for use in spinal and orthopedic procedures, this pedicle clamp provides atraumatic control of bone, implants and adjacent soft tissue during pedicle screw placement, reduction maneuvers and implant handling. The atraumatic jaw geometry permits secure manipulation with reduced risk of crush injury to cortical bone or delicate tissue, making it well suited to posterior lumbar and thoracic approaches, revision cases, and implant seating / adjustment tasks.
Design & Configuration
The Guyon pattern combines a slender shaft and extended length with atraumatic jaw tips to reach deep operative fields while minimizing obstruction of the surgical corridor. The 23 cm overall length offers added reach for posterior spine exposure and working around instrumentation. Atraumatic jaws distribute clamping force over a broader surface to secure implants or bone fragments without concentrated pressure points.
