Clinical Application
Designed for ENT and aural procedures that require precise, atraumatic handling within the narrow confines of the external auditory canal. The angled geometry and fine jaws allow controlled removal of foreign bodies and cerumen, placement or retrieval of small packs and dressings, and manipulation of tubes or small implants under otoscopic or microscopic visualization. Useful in clinic, ambulatory surgery centers, and operating-room otologic procedures where delicate access and visibility are required.
Design & Configuration
The angled, Magill-style shaft provides an approach trajectory that keeps the operator’s hand out of the line of sight, improving access under an operating microscope or otoscope. The slender, curved shaft reduces contact with canal walls while the distal, fine, atraumatic jaws enable secure grasping of small items without excessive compression. Ring-style handles afford precise finger control for delicate maneuvers in confined spaces.
