Clinical Application

This curved Macintosh size 5 blade is intended for direct laryngoscopy and facilitation of orotracheal intubation in adult patients, particularly when extended reach or increased blade length is required. The flexible distal tip provides controlled elevation of the epiglottis or fine adjustment of the blade tip to improve glottic exposure in anatomies where a rigid curved blade may be less effective.
