Clinical Application

Provides atraumatic access and visualization of the external auditory canal for otologic assessment and minor in‑canal procedures. Commonly used in ENT clinics, procedure rooms, and ambulatory surgery centers for diagnostic otoscopy, microsuction, cerumen removal, foreign body retrieval, and as an access aid when working under an operating microscope or otoscope.

Design & Configuration

The tapered conical profile concentrates the field of view and facilitates insertion through narrow canals while the flared rim offers a stable contact point with the conchal bowl to help maintain orientation during procedures. The open, unobstructed tip permits the passage of suction catheters and micro-instruments without compromising visualization. The 4.5 mm diameter size is intended for use when a smaller working aperture is required to match patient canal anatomy.
