Clinical Application
Designed for blunt dissection and ligature work in procedures where precise control in narrow or deep tissue planes is required. The instrument is commonly used to isolate small vessels, pass and secure ligatures, and perform atraumatic tissue separation during general, vascular, thoracic, gynecologic, and other soft-tissue procedures. The 18.5 cm length provides additional reach while maintaining tactile feedback for delicate handling.
Design & Configuration
The slender shank and fine jaws concentrate working geometry at the tip, allowing the operator to navigate confined spaces and dissect around vessels with minimal collateral trauma. Ring handles with an interlocking ratchet permit secure clamping and incremental control when holding ligatures or tissues. The overall balance between length and jaw profile facilitates precise placement of sutures and knots while preserving visibility in the operative field.
