Clinical Application
Designed to provide secure, temporary occlusion of intestinal segments during open gastrointestinal procedures. The curved, long shaft allows atraumatic clamping of small and large bowel for resections, anastomoses, stoma creation and controlled bowel handling to minimize luminal spillage and contamination of the operative field.
Design & Configuration
The curved configuration follows the anatomic contour of the bowel, permitting even compression across the lumen while keeping the clamp profile low within the operative field. A 30 cm overall length provides extended reach for deep abdominal or pelvic access without excess hand intrusion. A ratchet lock and precision box-lock (standard for this clamp pattern) maintain consistent occlusive pressure so the assistant or surgeon can control luminal flow while performing dissection or suturing. Atraumatic jaw geometry distributes pressure to reduce focal ischemia to the bowel wall.
