Clinical Application
Designed for controlled temporary occlusion of peripheral arteries and veins, this clamp is used during peripheral vascular procedures such as bypass, embolectomy, thrombectomy, vessel repair and exposure of extremity vessels. The atraumatic jaw profile enables vessel control while minimizing intimal damage, making it appropriate for use on femoral, popliteal, tibial and other peripheral vessels where delicate handling is required.
Design & Configuration
The 19 cm shaft length provides extended reach for deeper exposures while maintaining tactile control at the handles. A ratchet locking mechanism permits graded and secure closure without continuous manual force, allowing the assistant to maintain a stable occlusion. The slim shank-to-jaw transition helps with visualization and access in confined operative fields; the occluding jaw geometry is optimized to compress flow without excessive crushing force.
