Clinical Application
This instrument provides indirect visualization of the oral cavity, pharynx and larynx for diagnostic and procedural use in ENT clinics, outpatient exam rooms and surgical settings. Common uses include evaluation of vocal cord mobility, inspection for mucosal lesions, assessment of foreign bodies in the oropharynx, and assisting transoral procedures where a direct line of sight is limited. The 30 mm mirror diameter balances a wide field of view with access to posterior oral and oropharyngeal regions.
Design & Configuration
The Fig.10 pattern is a traditional laryngeal mirror geometry intended for reliable indirect visualization. Supplied without a handle, this configuration reduces bulk and allows the clinician to position the mirror with fine manual control. The 30 mm reflective surface increases usable viewing area compared with smaller mirrors while remaining maneuverable in routine examinations. A polished mirror surface minimizes image distortion and improves visualization of mucosal detail.
