Clinical Application
This compact 12 mm laryngeal mirror head is intended for indirect laryngoscopy and routine inspection of the oral cavity, oropharynx, hypopharynx and vocal fold region. It is useful in ENT clinics, outpatient settings and pre-operative airway assessments for visualization of lesions, vocal cord mobility, foreign bodies and mucosal pathology. The small-diameter mirror facilitates use in patients with limited oral opening, pediatric exams, or when a focused field of view is required.
Design & Configuration
The mirror’s small, circular geometry provides a controlled field of view that improves access in narrow oral cavities and minimizes gag reflex during indirect examination. Supplied without a handle, the head is intended to be used with detachable handles or inspection holders, allowing clinicians to select the handle style that best fits the workflow (lighted handles, disposable grips or standard reusable handles). The compact profile aids precise angulation and stabilization at the incisors for reproducible visualization of anterior and posterior laryngeal structures.
