Clinical Application
Designed for direct purchase and stabilization of cortical bone fragments during open orthopedic procedures. Commonly used during fracture reduction, osteotomies, plate-and-screw fixation and other reconstructive procedures to maintain alignment while drilling, measuring and securing implants. The instrument’s locking action allows the assistant or surgeon to maintain reduction without continuous manual compression.
Design & Configuration
The Lambotte pattern provides a slim profile with robust grasping jaws that maximize purchase on cortical surfaces while minimizing soft-tissue interference. A ratchet-style locking mechanism secures bone fragments once reduced, freeing the operator’s hands for instrumentation or implant placement. The 30 cm length gives additional reach in deep or obese surgical fields and improves access to distal or recessed fracture sites.
