Clinical Application
Designed for controlled resection of intranasal soft tissue, the angled nasal snare is used primarily for endonasal polypectomy and removal of small to medium pedunculated lesions. It facilitates precise tissue capture and excision under endoscopic visualization or direct anterior rhinoscopy, enabling targeted debulking while minimizing collateral mucosal trauma.
Design & Configuration
The angled loop geometry provides an improved approach vector for lesions located in the middle meatus, inferior turbinate, or posterior nasal cavity where a straight instrument would require awkward hand positioning or excessive shaft rotation. The loop mechanism allows the surgeon to encircle a pedicle, apply steady traction, and tighten the loop to excise tissue cleanly. The angled shaft also helps maintain an ergonomic wrist position during repetitive passes in confined nasal anatomy.
