Clinical Application
Designed for controlled excision of pedunculated intranasal lesions, the snare is commonly used during diagnostic and therapeutic nasal endoscopy and functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS). It enables removal of polyps, redundant mucosal tags, and small intranasal growths in confined nasal cavities where precise, atraumatic resection is required. The instrument is suitable for use in outpatient procedures, clinic-based endoscopy, and operating-room settings under endoscopic visualization.
Design & Configuration
The slim, elongated shaft permits passage through narrow nasal passages and working channels of endoscopes while maintaining direct control of the distal loop. The wire loop is tightened from the proximal handle to encircle the lesion's stalk, allowing controlled mechanical transection with minimal traction on surrounding mucosa. The proximal control provides fine modulation of loop tension for staged cutting and improved safety in anatomically constrained regions.
Instrument Specifications
