Clinical Application
Designed for controlled removal of aural polyps and small pedunculated soft-tissue lesions encountered in otology and general ENT practice. The slim-loop configuration facilitates use through an ear speculum under microscopy or endoscopic visualization to core and excise pedunculated tissue at its base with minimal traction on surrounding canal skin. Appropriate for use in outpatient minor-procedure settings as well as in the operating room.
Design & Configuration
The delicate single-loop geometry and slim shaft are intended to pass easily through narrow external auditory canals while preserving visualization. The hand-control mechanism affords incremental tightening of the loop for precise encirclement and excision of the lesion’s pedicle, reducing the need for excess force and helping limit collateral tissue trauma. The 16.5 cm working length provides reach without excess bulk for confined canal work.
