Clinical Application
Medium-length curved hemostatic forceps designed to clamp, compress, and secure bleeding vessels and soft tissue during open procedures. The 19 cm curved geometry provides additional working length for access into deeper cavities or wound depths where a shorter hemostat would limit reach. Common uses include vessel ligation, tissue grasping during dissection, placement of hemostatic clips or ties, and temporary occlusion during suturing or cautery.
Design & Configuration
Curved jaws orient the clamping surface away from the operator’s line of sight, improving visibility at the tip and allowing a more favorable approach angle to vessels within confined spaces. Full-length serrations along the jaw increase contact area for secure tissue hold across the entire bite, reducing slippage when compressing broader tissue bundles. An integral ratchet locking mechanism permits hands-free maintenance of hemostasis with graded closure strength.
