Clinical Application

Designed for mucoperichondrial and mucoperiosteal elevation during septoplasty, septorhinoplasty and other intranasal procedures. The 4 mm working tip provides a balance of surface contact and precision for developing submucosal planes along cartilage and bone, aiding controlled flap elevation, pocket creation, and limited undermining while minimizing mucosal tears. Useful for anterior and posterior septal work and for working in narrow nasal cavities where controlled leverage and tactile feedback are required.

Design & Configuration

The curved shaft geometry provides improved alignment with the nasal axis and facilitates access to the posterior septum without excessive manipulation of surrounding tissues. A 16 cm overall length offers reach through the nasal vestibule to posterior septal regions while maintaining shaft stiffness for controlled elevation. The 4 mm working tip is sized for precise, atraumatic engagement of the mucoperichondrial layer, allowing surgeons to maintain close tactile control during blunt dissection.
