Clinical Application

Designed for secure occlusion of small vessels and achieving focal hemostasis during soft-tissue dissection. The short, 5 cm straight profile provides enhanced tactile control for delicate procedures and confined operative fields where precision is essential, such as ENT, plastics, microsurgery, pediatric cases and general surgical closures of small bleeders. It is used to clamp, compress, and temporarily occlude bleeding vessels while allowing the surgeon to proceed with ligation or cautery.

Design & Configuration

The straight geometry and compact 5 cm length place the working tip near the surgeon's fingers to maximize fine motor control and reduce lever action—important when operating in tight spaces or when delicate tissue handling is required. A narrow tip with fine serrations creates secure vessel purchase without excessive crush area, while the standard ratchet lock permits hands-free maintenance of occlusion. A box-lock joint provides reliable alignment and repeatable jaw closure throughout repeated use.
