Clinical Application

This low-profile Jackson tracheal tube is intended as a temporary airway conduit for patients undergoing tracheostomy, tracheotomy care, and select ENT or head & neck procedures where a rigid, reusable metal tube is preferred. The 4 mm nominal lumen size is chosen for patients with narrow tracheal diameters (for example small children or adults with limited tracheal caliber) and provides a stable conduit for ventilation, suctioning, and pulmonary toilet while maintaining alignment with the tracheal axis.
