Clinical Application

This dilator is intended for mechanical cervical dilation to a 19 mm working diameter to allow access to the uterine cavity. It is used by gynecologists and surgical teams during procedures such as dilation and curettage (D&C), hysteroscopy setup, uterine instrument insertion, and other diagnostic or therapeutic intrauterine interventions where a controlled, atraumatic dilatation is required. The 19 mm size is commonly used as a final dilator in staged dilation protocols or as the target size for procedures requiring larger cervical access.

Design & Configuration

The instrument features a straight, solid shaft with a smooth taper culminating in an atraumatic rounded tip.
