Clinical Application

This instrument is designed for controlled cervical dilatation to create or confirm access to the uterine cavity. A 13 mm diameter is commonly used during diagnostic and operative gynecologic procedures such as dilation and curettage, pre-hysteroscopy cervical preparation, certain IUD procedures, and uterine sounding.
