Clinical Application
Designed for otolaryngology procedures that require controlled scooping and debridement within confined cavities. The curved, spoon-shaped curette tips (1.5 mm and 1.8 mm) provide delicate removal of cerumen, soft tissue debris, and small polypoid material from the external auditory canal and other superficial mucosal surfaces. The two tip diameters allow selection based on canal size and the amount of material to be removed.
Design & Configuration
The full curved double-ended configuration follows the anatomic contour of the external auditory canal, improving line-of-sight and reducing the need for instrument reorientation during procedures. Each end features a shallow, spoon-shaped cutting edge that scoops rather than tears, helping minimize mucosal trauma. The 18 cm shaft gives additional working length for approaches where extra reach is required for access under loupe or microscope visualization.
