Clinical Application

Used for atraumatic calibration and dilation of the urethra and for guiding difficult catheter exchanges. The 15 Fr diameter is commonly used to confirm urethral caliber, progressively dilate strictures, or to facilitate placement of a 15 Fr catheter when direct catheterization is problematic.
