Clinical Application

Designed for controlled, manual removal of mucus, blood, coagulum and other secretions from the oral cavity, oropharynx, tracheostomy stoma and upper trachea. Commonly used by anesthesiologists, ENT surgeons, respiratory therapists and perioperative teams during induction/extubation, tracheostomy care, bronchoscopy assistance and bedside airway management when precision scooping is preferred over irrigation or suction alone. The scoop permits atraumatic clearing of viscous material that may clog suction catheters.
