Clinical Application

This blunt uterine spoon is intended for controlled, atraumatic removal of intrauterine contents and gentle blunt scraping of the endometrium. Commonly used during dilation and curettage (D&C), postpartum uterine exploration, evacuation of retained products, and procedures where tactile feedback and tissue preservation are priorities. The blunt edge is selected when minimizing perforation risk or when sharp curettage is not required.
