Clinical Application

Design & Configuration

The Gelpi-style geometry uses two single-pointed, outward-curved prongs to create a small-footprint retraction that concentrates force at the tips for effective tissue separation without large blade contact. The self-retaining action frees assistants’ hands during suturing and instrument changes. The integrated stop (locking stop) limits maximum opening and secures the instrument at the chosen spread, allowing controlled tension on delicate tissues and reducing the risk of inadvertent over‑retraction.
