Clinical Application
Designed to provide direct visualization and access to the cervix and vaginal vault during routine gynecologic care. Common procedural applications include pelvic examinations, Pap/HPV sampling, cervical inspection and minor intra-vaginal procedures such as IUD placement or removal and minor lesion management. The 100 x 40 mm dimensions balance reach and lateral retraction for general adult use.
Design & Configuration
The bivalved geometry separates the anterior and posterior vaginal walls to create a clear line of sight to the cervix. An adjustable opening with a locking mechanism allows clinicians to set and maintain the desired degree of retraction for hands-free working, improving procedural efficiency and stability during specimen collection or minor interventions. Smooth, rounded blade edges reduce focal pressure and help minimize mucosal trauma and patient discomfort during insertion and manipulation.
