Clinical Application
Small, spring-action vascular occluding clamp designed to provide rapid, controlled temporary hemostasis of small-to-medium caliber vessels. Commonly used during vessel dissection, preparation for anastomosis, or to control focal bleeding in cardiovascular, general, plastic/reconstructive, ENT and microsurgical procedures. The straight jaw geometry permits an axial approach to the vessel when space is limited.
Design & Configuration
The straight, serrated jaws provide a secure bite across the vessel surface to minimize slippage during manipulation. The compact 5 cm overall length gives close access in confined fields while the 8 mm jaw width distributes compressive force across a broader area. The spring-action bulldog design enables quick single-handed application and consistent closing pressure for reliable temporary occlusion; the design also allows rapid release without a separate locking mechanism.
