Clinical Application
Designed for controlled temporary occlusion of the inferior vena cava and other large-caliber veins, this clamp is used to control central venous bleeding, isolate venous segments for repair or anastomosis, and obtain proximal/distal vascular control during vascular, cardiothoracic, transplant, and trauma surgeries. The atraumatic DeBakey-style jaws distribute pressure to reduce intimal injury while maintaining secure hemostasis during delicate vascular maneuvers.
Design & Configuration
The long-shank geometry provides reach into deep thoracic or retroperitoneal fields while keeping the surgeon’s hands clear of the operative site. A ratcheted handle allows progressive closure and reliable locking at the desired occlusion force. The narrow jaw profile facilitates placement around large vessels without excessive bulk and the DeBakey-style longitudinal serrations offer broad surface contact that minimizes focal compression and vessel trauma compared with toothed clamps.

Material & Construction
Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel with precision box-lock construction and a ratchet mechanism engineered for repeated use. The finish resists corrosion and is compatible with standard reprocessing and autoclave sterilization protocols. The jaw profile and finish are optimized to balance secure vessel control with atraumatic handling.
Quality & Compliance
Manufactured by FDA-registered OEM facilities and produced under strict quality control standards.
Brand Comparison
Comparable in form and function to equivalent instruments offered by major US medical suppliers.
