Clinical Application
Designed to provide secure, atraumatic occlusion of arteries and veins during open procedures, this clamp is used to temporarily control blood flow for dissection, vessel mobilization and anastomosis. The atraumatic jaw pattern minimizes focal pressure on the vessel wall and helps preserve endothelial integrity during vessel handling, making it appropriate for vascular, cardiothoracic, transplant and general surgical cases where tissue preservation is critical.
Design & Configuration
The longitudinally serrated jaw geometry distributes clamping force over a larger surface area to reduce the risk of intimal injury compared with traditional toothed patterns. At 15 cm overall length, the instrument provides a balance of reach and tactile control for accessing vessels in chest, abdominal and peripheral fields. A ratchet lock enables incremental closing pressure and secure maintenance of occlusion while suturing or dissecting, and the box-lock hinge preserves shaft alignment for consistent jaw apposition.

Material & Construction
Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel with precision-milled jaws and a robust box-lock hinge for alignment and durability. The atraumatic serration pattern is integrated directly into the jaw faces to reduce slippage while limiting focal crushing. The instrument is designed for repeated use and is compatible with standard sterilization processes including steam autoclave.
Quality & Compliance
Manufactured by FDA-registered OEM facilities and produced under strict quality control standards.
Brand Comparison
Comparable in form and function to equivalent instruments offered by major US medical suppliers.
