Clinical Application

Design & Configuration

The Cusco bivalved geometry provides simultaneous anterior and posterior blade separation to create a consistent working channel while minimizing lateral tissue distortion. The lateral screw mechanism locks the blades at the desired aperture for hands-free operation, improving efficiency during speculum-based sampling or instrumentation. Flat-ended blades distribute pressure across the mucosa and facilitate direct instrument passage and specimen collection without obstructing the field.
