Clinical Application
Provides controlled dilation and direct visualization of the anterior nasal cavity and vestibule for diagnostic rhinoscopy and minor intranasal procedures. Common uses include anterior septal assessment, turbinate inspection, removal of small intranasal foreign bodies, and exposure of the nasal valve during office or operating-room procedures. Designed for use with external illumination or surgical headlights to optimize visualization.
Design & Configuration
The bivalved blade configuration enables smooth, bilateral retraction of the nostril to create a clear working corridor. A 50 mm maximum opening accommodates a range of patient anatomies while the 14 cm overall length provides sufficient reach for anterior and mid-nasal cavity access. The black finish reduces surface glare under surgical lights and improves contrast of the mucosal surface for better visual assessment.
