Clinical Application
Designed for atraumatic temporary occlusion of small-to-medium pediatric vessels, this clamp is used during congenital cardiac repairs, vessel anastomosis, cannulation control and other pediatric cardiovascular and vascular procedures where precise, gentle vessel control is required.
Design & Configuration
The spoon-shaped jaws cradle the vessel to distribute compressive force across a broader surface and reduce focal trauma to delicate pediatric tissue. The compact 14 cm overall length provides improved maneuverability within the restricted exposure of pediatric and neonatal operative fields. A positive locking mechanism permits sustained occlusion without continuous manual pressure, allowing the surgeon to work with a stable, atraumatic clamp in place.
