Caspar Retractor w/out blades

Clinical Application

Provides stable, hands-free exposure for anterior cervical spine procedures. The retractor frame maintains a working corridor for anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF), anterior cervical corpectomy, and related soft-tissue dissection. When fitted with compatible blades (sold separately), the system secures wound margins and optimizes visualization for microscope or fluoroscopic guidance, instrumentation, graft placement and implant insertion.

Design & Configuration

The open-frame design with an adjustable crossbar and integrated locking mechanism allows the surgeon to set and maintain distraction and retraction tension without continuous manual assistance. The posts on the frame accept interchangeable blades, enabling selection of blade profile and depth to match patient anatomy and incision size. Supplying the frame without blades lets teams choose blade styles and lengths appropriate for their procedural preferences.
