Clinical Application
Provides controlled exposure of deep soft-tissue planes and wound edges in general surgical procedures. The curved distal tip is useful for retracting bowel, mesentery, fascia and other soft tissues around curved or confined anatomy, improving visualization of the operative field while allowing the assistant or surgeon to maintain traction without excessive focal pressure.
Design & Configuration
The curved-tip geometry directs retraction force along a smooth arc, enabling easier engagement of tissue margins and better clearance of structures that lie around a contour. The 30 mm blade width distributes force across a broader surface to reduce focal tissue compression, while the 25 cm overall length provides reach into deeper incisions without compromising handle control. The hand-held configuration gives the operator direct tactile feedback and rapid adjustability during exposure.
