Clinical Application
Designed for controlled elevation, blunt dissection and isolation of veins, this instrument is used to identify, retract and pass ligatures or vessel loops around small- to medium-caliber veins. Common applications include phlebectomy and varicose vein procedures, peripheral vascular exposure, and soft-tissue procedures where atraumatic handling of venous structures is required.
Design & Configuration
The Figure 2 curvature provides an angled hook profile that facilitates precise lifting and encirclement of vessels within a confined field. At 19 cm overall length the instrument offers extended reach into deeper soft-tissue pockets while maintaining tactile feedback. The slender shank and compact hook tip minimize tissue disturbance and improve visibility when isolating vessels or passing suture or vessel loops beneath a vein.
