Clinical Application
Provides atraumatic access to the external auditory canal for diagnostic visualization and minor otologic procedures. The conical tip establishes a clear working channel for direct inspection, manual removal of cerumen and foreign bodies, microsuction, and passage of suction tips or instruments during clinic-based or operating room ear procedures.
Design & Configuration
The tapered, funnel-shaped geometry concentrates the visual field at the distal opening and gently dilates the canal entrance to improve sightlines under direct or microscopic illumination. The smooth, rounded distal edge minimizes mucosal trauma when introducing instruments or suction and facilitates atraumatic removal. The 7.0 mm tip diameter provides a stable lumen for working with standard ear curettes, suction tips, and microinstruments.
