Clinical Application
Designed to provide sustained, atraumatic retraction of anterior cervical soft tissues when used with a Caspar retractor frame. Commonly employed in anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF), anterior cervical discectomy, and other anterior cervical spine procedures to maintain a consistent surgical corridor, optimize visualization of vertebral bodies and discs, and reduce the need for manual retraction.
Design & Configuration
The 60 mm length provides extended reach for single- or multilevel cervical exposure while maintaining a low-profile footprint in the operative field. As a replacement blade that mounts to the Caspar retractor assembly, its geometry balances contact area and tissue pressure to achieve secure retraction with minimized focal trauma. The configuration allows the surgeon to position and lock the blade on the retractor frame for stable, hands-free exposure throughout the procedure.
Instrument Specifications
