Clinical Application
Provides focused medial retraction during anterior cervical spine procedures. The blade is intended to be used with a Caspar cervical retractor to maintain midline exposure of vertebral bodies and disc spaces during discectomy, corpectomy, interbody grafting and fusion. Its compact footprint helps stabilize the surgical corridor while allowing instrument access for decompression, endplate preparation and implant placement.
Design & Configuration
The medial orientation concentrates retraction centrally along the surgical field to preserve lateral soft tissues and minimize unnecessary exposure. The 25x24 mm blade profile offers a compact, low-profile contact area to reduce soft-tissue compression while providing a stable platform for retraction. The geometry facilitates clear visualization of the anterior cervical column and permits simultaneous use of anterior instrumentation through the same operative window.
