Clinical Application
Designed for atraumatic elevation of the mucoperichondrial and mucoperiosteal layers from the nasal septum, this elevator is used during septoplasty, functional rhinoplasty and other intranasal procedures. The working tip allows controlled blunt dissection to develop the submucosal plane, expose septal cartilage and bone, and create the surgical exposure required for resection, graft placement or realignment while minimizing mucosal tears.
Design & Configuration
The slim 22 cm shaft provides reach into the nasal cavity while maintaining tactile feedback and control. The small, rounded spoon-like tip distributes pressure across the mucosa to reduce point loading and perforation risk. The geometry facilitates both anterior and posterior elevation along the septal contour and is suitable for use in confined intranasal spaces where precise, low-profile instrumentation is required.
