Clinical Application
This handle provides the clinician with a secure gripping interface for manipulation of an abortion cannula during uterine aspiration procedures. It is intended to transmit tactile feedback, control insertion depth and rotation, and permit controlled advancement and withdrawal of the cannula during suction curettage or manual vacuum aspiration.
Design & Configuration
The separated handle design allows modular attachment to a matching cannula shaft, offering ergonomic control and a defined hand position for fine movements. A smooth, contoured grip surface improves handling and reduces hand fatigue during repeated insertions. The detachable configuration supports easy cleaning and sterilization workflows and enables replacement of the handle without replacing the entire cannula assembly.
