Clinical Application
This instrument is designed to perform controlled curettage with an integrated flushing capability. It is used to dislodge and evacuate soft tissue, debris, or necrotic material while simultaneously irrigating the field to loosen material and improve visualization. Typical applications include irrigation-assisted curettage and debridement in deep or narrow cavities where a long working length and continuous flushing improve efficiency and reduce instrument exchanges.
Design & Configuration
The long 29 cm working length provides access to deeper surgical sites while maintaining surgeon control. The flushing configuration permits concurrent irrigation through the shaft to the curette tip, allowing the surgeon to loosen adherent material and clear the field without separate irrigation instruments. The curette tip geometry is optimized for scraping and scooping tissue, enabling precise tissue removal with minimal collateral trauma.
Instrument Specifications
