Clinical Application
Designed for gynecologic procedures that require mechanical removal or sampling of endometrial tissue. Common uses include diagnostic and therapeutic dilation and curettage (D&C), evacuation of retained products of conception, and endometrial sampling. The 28 cm shaft provides extended reach for deeper uterine cavities or when additional working length is required in operative settings.
Design & Configuration
The Fig.3 universal curette profile is intended to provide a balance between scraping efficiency and atraumatic tissue engagement. The long, rigid shaft transmits controlled tactile feedback to the operator, allowing precise curettage strokes under direct or bimanual guidance. The universal tip geometry accommodates general-purpose scraping across a range of uterine sizes without requiring instrument exchange for varied tip styles.
