Clinical Application
This instrument is intended for gynecologic intrauterine procedures that require controlled scraping or blunt curettage of the endometrial lining. Common applications include diagnostic and therapeutic dilation and curettage (D&C), targeted endometrial sampling, and removal of retained products of conception. Its length and configuration facilitate transvaginal access under speculum visualization and when used in conjunction with standard uterine tenacula and dilators.
Design & Configuration
The universal curette configuration provides a versatile working tip geometry suitable for controlled removal of tissue across the uterine cavity. The 28 cm overall length offers additional reach for procedures where greater depth or longer working length is required, while still allowing tactile feedback for the operator. The straight shaft and handling profile are intended to permit precise orientation of the tip during systematic curettage of fundal and lateral surfaces.
