Clinical Application

A sharp Sims-style curette with a loop handle intended for gynecologic intrauterine and endocervical tissue sampling and removal. Common uses include diagnostic and therapeutic endometrial curettage, dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures, evacuation of retained products of conception, polyp removal and targeted scraping or debridement under direct or blind technique. The sharp cutting edge facilitates controlled tissue removal where scooping or sharp curettage is required.
