Clinical Application
Designed for gynecologic procedures that require controlled scraping or sampling of endocervical and endometrial tissue. The sharp curette tip provides an effective cutting edge for obtaining biopsy curettings, removing retained products, or performing targeted curettage during diagnostic and therapeutic dilation and curettage (D&C). It is used under speculum visualization and often in conjunction with uterine sounding or traction instruments to control depth and orientation.
Design & Configuration
The malleable shaft allows the clinician to gently contour the instrument intraoperatively to match individual anatomic angles or to improve access to the cervical canal and uterine cavity. A sharp spoon-shaped curette tip concentrates force at the cutting edge for efficient tissue excision and sampling while providing tactile feedback. The 25 cm length provides extended reach for deeper cavities or when additional working length is required.
