Clinical Application

The Recamier flexible curette is designed for gynecologic procedures that require controlled endometrial scraping or removal of soft intrauterine tissue, including diagnostic and therapeutic dilatation and curettage (D&C), evacuation of retained products of conception, and endometrial sampling. The flexible 35 mm blade is intended to conform to uterine contours, providing broad surface contact for efficient tissue collection while maintaining tactile feedback for the operator.

Design & Configuration

A flexible blade geometry allows the curette to adapt to the curvature of the uterine cavity, which can reduce focal pressure points and improve contact with the endometrial lining compared with rigid curettes. The 31 cm overall length provides adequate reach for routine uterine access in adult patients.
