Clinical Application

Designed for manual curettage in gynecologic procedures, this instrument is used to sample or remove endometrial tissue, evacuate retained products of conception, and perform limited debridement of the uterine cavity. Its dimensions and flexible shaft make it suitable for procedures performed in ambulatory surgery centers, clinics, and operating rooms where controlled, tactile tissue removal is required.

Design & Configuration

The flexible shaft allows the operator to navigate the cervical canal and conform to the uterine cavity curvature while maintaining manual control at the handle. The 8 mm oval loop provides a focused scraping surface for targeted tissue sampling and removal without excessive bulk. The 31 cm overall length ensures adequate reach for transvaginal access in adult patients. The Recamier Fig.2 loop profile is a traditional curette geometry that balances efficient tissue capture with tactile feedback.
