Clinical Application
This rigid curette is intended for controlled scraping, debridement and tissue sampling in procedures that require a broad, stable working surface at a distance from the operator. The 15 mm working tip provides a wide engagement area for removal of soft tissue, granulation, necrotic material, or lesion sampling. Typical uses include ENT and sinonasal debridement, mucosal curettage, dermatologic lesion removal, and other surgical applications where precise curettage or sampling is required in a confined or deep field.
Design & Configuration
A rigid shaft transmits tactile feedback and allows precise manual control of depth and force during curettage. The 31 cm overall length increases reach for procedures in deeper cavities while maintaining shaft stiffness to avoid tip deflection. The Fig.7 designation identifies the manufacturer's specific pattern and working-end geometry; the 15 mm working tip provides a broad contact area for efficient scraping and tissue removal while minimizing the need for repeated passes.
