Clinical Application

Designed for controlled curettage and tissue removal, this instrument is intended for procedures requiring scraping, scooping or sampling of soft tissue. The 11 mm curette cup provides a relatively large working surface for efficient removal or collection of tissue, making it suitable for endometrial sampling, removal of retained products of conception, and other gynecologic or soft-tissue curettage tasks where a rigid instrument is preferred.

Design & Configuration

The rigid shaft provides predictable tactile feedback and precise transmission of force to the curette cup, enabling the surgeon to perform targeted scraping without the flex seen in flexible instruments. The Fig.4 Recamier cup geometry offers a concave, scooping profile that facilitates controlled engagement of tissue and efficient evacuation of specimens. The overall 31 cm length delivers extended reach for access in deeper cavities or when additional working length is required.
