Clinical Application
Designed for gynecologic procedures requiring controlled endometrial scraping and tissue retrieval. Common uses include diagnostic and therapeutic dilation & curettage (D&C), endometrial sampling, removal of retained products of conception, and targeted uterine cavity tissue collection. The blunt working tip is intended to engage and remove tissue while reducing the risk of sharp instrumental trauma to the endometrium and uterine wall when used with standard clinical technique.
Design & Configuration
The malleable shaft allows the clinician to contour the instrument to the patient’s uterine axis for improved access and tactile feedback during curettage. The 35 mm working tip provides a sizeable contact area for efficient tissue collection, while the blunt configuration helps minimize perforation risk compared with sharp curettes in procedures where a less aggressive edge is preferred. The 31 cm overall length affords reach for a range of uterine sizes and clinical positions.
